Greetings Inkster Public Schools Family,
This is an exciting time to be an educator in Inkster Public Schools! In spite of the challenges that we face in our nation, state, and community, our educational program continues to advance and grow strong. We are honored that you have entrusted your children’s education to us as we help them prepare for current and future success.
We began to implement instructional leadership and learning strategies last year that are founded in solid brain-based research. We are working to make sure that every practice is based upon what the brain needs to maximize learning, positive growth, and emotional stability. We are eager to expand our training this year to include our parents as we work together to ensure that our students receive an education that will allow them to be successful anywhere!
To attain success in school, our students must adhere to only two things—
· Be on task, and
· Comply with adult requests.
We are committed to providing instruction and learning opportunities that will make students eager to stay on task. We are also committed to ensuring that adult requests are respectful, reasonable, and always designed to support student safety and learning.
Great things are happening in our schools and community. Our goal is to help our students dream big dreams and then help make those dreams reality. It is our pleasure to serve you. We are looking forward to having a great year!
